The multi-information display shows the odometer, trip meter, outside temperature indicator*, and other gauges.

It also displays important messages such as warnings and other helpful information.

■Switching the Display

Press the button or the  (SEL/RESET) knob to (display/information) button or the change (SEL/RESET) knob to change the display.

■Odometer

Shows the total number of miles or kilometers that your vehicle has accumulated.

■Trip Meter

Shows the total number of miles or kilometers driven since the last reset. Meters A and B can be used to measure 2 separate trips.

Switch between trip meter A and trip meter B by pressing the using the customized knob, or by using the customized features on the multi-information display.

■ Resetting a trip meter

To reset a trip meter, display it, then press and hold the reset to “0.0”. knob. The trip meter is reset to “0.0”.

■Average Fuel Economy

Shows the estimated average fuel economy of each trip meter in mpg or l/100 km.

The display is updated at set intervals. When a trip meter is reset, the average fuel economy is also reset.

You can choose to reset either Trip A or average fuel economy A when you refuel.

2.4 ℓ engine models

You can choose an item to be displayed in the fuel consumption screen. Average fuel economy, range, elapsed time, or average speed can be selected.

■Range

Shows the estimated distance you can travel on the remaining fuel. This distance is estimated from the fuel economy of your trips in the past.

1.8 ℓ engine models

You can choose an item to be displayed in the fuel consumption screen. Range, elapsed time, or average speed can be selected.

■Elapsed Time

Shows the time elapsed since the last time Trip A or Trip B was reset.

■Average Speed

Shows the average speed in mph or km/h since the last time Trip A or Trip B was reset.

■Engine Oil Life

Shows the remaining oil life and Maintenance MinderTM.

■Outside Temperature

Shows the outside temperature in Fahrenheit (U.S.) or Celsius (Canada).

The temperature sensor is in the front bumper.

Road heat and exhaust from another vehicle can affect the temperature reading when your vehicle speed is less than 19 mph (30 km/h).

It may take several minutes for the display to be updated after the temperature reading has stabilized.

■ Adjusting the outside temperature display
Adjust the temperature reading up to ±5°F or ±3°C if the temperature reading seems incorrect.

Use the multi-information display's customized features to correct the temperature.

■Instant Fuel Economy

Shows the instant fuel economy as a bar graph in mpg or l/100 km.

■Power Monitor

Engine horsepower usage while driving is

Engine horsepower usage while driving is displayed in the power monitor.

“100%” indicates that horsepower is at its maximum.

Engine horsepower is affected by external conditions such as driving conditions, or vehicle condition. The power monitor can compensate for some of these variables, but different readings may be displayed.

■Turn-by-Turn Directions

Shows you turn-by-turn driving directions to your destination linked with the navigation system.

You can select whether the turn-by-turn display comes on or not during the route guidance.

Use the multi-information display to customize certain features.

■ How to customize

Select the Vehicle Menu screen by pressing the MENU button while the ignition switch is in ON at a complete stop. Select Customize, and the vehicle is at a complete stop. Select Customize Settings, then press the SOURCE button.

You can import up to three images, one at a time for wallpaper from a USB flash drive.

Select Import Wallpaper from Customize Settings and properly connect a USB flash drive to store an image.

• When importing wallpaper files, the image must be in the USB flash drive’s root directory. Images in a folder cannot be imported.
• The file format of the image that can be imported is BMP (bmp) or JPEG (jpg).
• The individual file size limit is 2 MB.
• The maximum image size is 1,920 x 936 pixels. If the image size was less than 480 x 234 pixels, the image is displayed in the middle of the screen with the extra area appearing in black.
• The number of files that can be selected is up to 255.
• Up to 64 characters can be displayed in the file name.
